| The club had a very successfull outing at Cork Regatta on Saturday 2nd July. It was a lovely warm summer's day although unfortunately the athmosphere of a big event was somewhat lacking - mainly due to the lack of a commentary which is so necessary on the big lake at Farran. However our young rowers did us proud with a total of 6 wins - the most of any of the Cork rowing clubs and our highest at Cork Regatta for many's a year. A particular congatulations to Colm Hennessy for his win in the MJ14 1X in his first full regatta. In addition to our winners, who are listed below, all our large entry rowed to the best of their ability and did the club proud. Winners were: |
