| A beautiful day at Fermoy Regatta on Sunday 3rd. Hot July sunshine, great athmosphere, the banks of the Blackwater lined with picnic groups and avid club supporters, highly efficent regatta management and great racing. Shandon crews did well with four wins and many close calls as all crews rowed with great grit and determination. Dan O'Neill and Stephen O'Sullivan were pipped by a foot in the MJ12 1X and MJ14 1X respectively and our Junior 15 girls while just losing to St Michaels in the final of the WJ16 4X+ had the pleasure of beating their great rivals - Cork Boat Club - into 3rd place.
