The Home Internationals were held in Glasglow over the weekend of the 23rd and 24th July. By all accounts it was a very successful event and the reports back from the Irish Camp indicate that there was a great athmosphere in the squad contributing to a very good result in finishing second overall to the English team.
We would like to extent particular congratulations to the two Shandon representatives on the Irish team.

Niamh O'Mahony was a member of the Junior Women's team who won their overall category. Niamh was in the JW4X- which came second in its event.

Karen Corcoran-O'Hare was a member of the Senior Women's team and competed in two events. She placed second in the W4x and was a very close third in the Lightweight Women's 2x.
Well done girls. A very satisfactory end to an excellent season for the club.
