Indoor Rowing Championships |

| The club had a very successful outing at the recent Indoor Rowing Championships held in Trinity College, Dublin. We had 21 junior participants as well as Richard Morgan and Mike Griew in their masters' categories. |

In the MJ15 competition Luke Carroll and Dan Begley performed superbly to win Gold and Silver medals respectively. Both finished very strongly to come through the field in the second half of their row winning the first two places in just the last few seconds. Liam Hennessy and Colm Hennessy took Silver and Bronze in the MJ14 competition with Liam coming from as far back as 14th postion at half way to just pip Colm by 3 meters for the Silver. Ronan Byrne won Bronze in the MJ13s with Stephen O'Sullivan and Stuart Barry close behind

In the WJ15 event Daisy Callanan finished in a very creditable 4th place, In the WJ14 race Clodagh O'Sullivan also finished just outside the medals in 4th place with Fiona Keeley, Claudia O'Sullivan, Chloe Sullivan and Kristine Hartnett also well placed in a large field

| Not to be outdone Mike Griew won a Silver Medal in the Mens 50 - 59 category and achieved his goal of beating 7 mins for the 2k row by 0.4 of a second! We also had the honour of having the oldest competitor in the competition in Richard Morgan now in his 82nd year. |
| It was a fun day out and well done to all our competitors and to Catriona, Annemarie and Catherine who got everyone back home to Cork safe and sound. |
